  6. Like your web pages (although I am a vegetarian) but especially like the Italian influence. Like the chestnut recipe. Don’t forget other Italian favorites like broccoli rabe. Keep up the great traditions.

    1. Thanks Carolyn, I love eating vegetarian and boy did I make an amazing ‘country chile’ with TVP 🙂 I need to do it on my site, as it is really remarkable! If you subscribe, you will get my updates. I started a business of helping people create health (as you can see my before weight loss and after) in their lives and it keeps me having more fun than ever! Hope you checked out my new ‘lean & green’ page, I know you’re vegetarian but you’ll see me after the weight loss and feeling like a new person!
      being healthy, Deborah

    2. Thanks, I was a vegetarian for years and am on a journey of my life now that is helping me really create Optimal Health for myself 🙂 Merry Christmas!

    1. sorry I don’t have one and am sure you’ve googled it by now and found some real neat ones to combine to make your own! Have fun exploring 🙂

  7. Wow Debee… You look great!

You are a natural in the kitchen…

Frannie is getting a bit bored with my cooking…so these recipes may give me an excuse
for getting the spices and trying different dishes…

    XoXo

    1. Hi Walker! It was good to hear from you! Glad you like my website….Daniel does a lot for me and I love being in front of the camera in the kitchen. Did you see my new page, the Lean & Green one? I look like another person, so people tell me! Tell Fran I said hi and have a very blessed Christmas with family & friends. The four of us should get together for dinner again 🙂

  8. no comment … just wondering …. would you happen to have any Trudy McNall recipes.?? My mom used to watch her too!! ( I was about 6yr old) but do remember ‘watching ‘ the Home Cooking show too I have tried to locate recipes from the local TV station here, from which the show was broadcasted and I was told they don’t have any of her shows. (hard to believe)or recipes.!!. Can you help or have any ideas ??? thanks for any help you can give me.

  9. I went to print recipe for your video, crockpot lasagna, and it page can’t be found it says. Can you send me the recipe. Hopefully your cheese mixture is included on the recipe since the video didn’t show how to make it. I’m hoping to make it soon, really wanted to make it today, but, no available recipe. Thank you for making videos of good comfortable easy homenade food.
Remember your Crockpot Lasagna Recipe including your recipe of cheese mixture, and sauce recipe too would be Awesome. Thank you Dear, and May God Bless you and your family. <3

  10. Just found your blog in 2018. Not sure if you’re still at it, but I hope so. I can’t believe how much you story mirrors my own. Those were the days! Makes me really miss my mom. I wonder if you recall a recipe for a brownie Trudy made using a pudding mix and marshmallows…my mom made it often when I was little. After many years mom and I tried to find the recipe as she has some of Trudy’s recipe sheets, but we couldn’t locate this recipe. Every now and then I look for it, but so far no luck. Maybe it’s not a brownie…a cake?…not sure. Oh, they also had a chocolate frosting over the marshmallow layer. I hope this note finds you and your family well. I’ll keep a watch for any reply. Thanks a bunch!?

  11. Cindi, thank you for your comments. How sweet we had mom’s that liked Trudy when she was on tv. She really was admirable for her cooking. I’m not familiar with the recipe you’re looking for, sorry. I have had a lot of transition in the past 2 years but now I am more settled and hope to do more cooking shows with more of my lean and greener page. The 77 lbs I lost 6 years ago have taught me a lot about myself and after gaining 50 of it back I am happy to say I am almost back down to my healthy weight. You see, it is more about a healthy mind and that is why I am a Health Coach to those who really want that part along with the physical weight part. Hope to hear from you soon and you have a blessed and peaceful week :))
